ACDelco, a division of General Motors Technical Centre India and supplier of light repair maintenance auto parts, launched its’Cabin Air Filter’ product program at the ongoing ACMA Automechanika trade show in Delhi.
ACDelco, the exclusive original equipment parts brand for Chevrolet and other GM brands is one of the major global players in the automotive spare-parts trade and it recently celebrated 100 years of its presence in the global aftermarket.
The newly launched Cabin Air Filters, which are made with high-quality multiple fiber layer media and equipped to trap up to 95 percent dirt, dust, pollen and other pollutants, facilitates improved airflow while supporting defrosting performance of the A/C systems.
Markus Sternberg, VP, Aftersales and Customer Experience, Chevrolet India, said,”We will strive to increase ACDelco’s footprint in India through new programs and adding more direct distributors, retailers and distribution centers.”
ACDelco claimed cabin air filter’s multiple layers create a more comfortable breathing environment within the vehicle, ensuring cleaner and fresher air.
The company also said it is looking forward to grow and multiply its filtration revenue line at a prolific pace and plans to roll out 6 new product programs in the next few months.
Rajesh Nangia, Director, ACDelco India, said,”Keeping in mind the degrading cabin air quality that accounts for harmful air pollution, the new ‘Cabin Air Filter’ will meet the rising demand of the product in the passenger car segment.”
He said the filters are built to suit most of the new generation vehicles today.
Currently, ACDelco supplies a diverse range of more than 1,000 parts that primarily takes in lubricants, batteries, drive-shafts, oil, fuel and air filters, brake pads and wipers from its 9 distribution centers.
ACDelco has presence in 20 states and 105 towns across India with around 600 direct wholesale distributors and more than 20,000 retailers.
