While majority of other vehicle manufacturers announcing several easy buying options including delayed EMIs, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced that it will increase price for Camry Hybrid Electric Vehicle and The Vellfire with effect from July 2020.
As both these vehicles are targeting the luxury car buyers, the price hike may not affect its sales, auto analysts with whom Automotive India News interacted said.
Rise in Exchange Rate
Toyota has justified its price hike saying, “The impending hike have been necessitated due to the substantial rise in exchange rate.”
Seen as one of Toyota’s flagship models among self-charging electric vehicles, TKM said the new generation Camry Hybrid Electric Vehicle redefines luxury sedan experience with its styling & comfortable interiors and dynamic performance,.
The Vellfire, which is the latest launch by Toyota in India stands out for its ultra-luxurious, powerful and eco-advanced performance. It is backed by low fuel consumption and carbon footprints.
