BharatBenz has registered its mark in the Indian commercial vehicle sector in appreciable manner in 2016 and gearing up to take its game in a big way in 2017.
BharatBenz, an India-specific CV brand of Daimler India Commercial Vehicle (DICV), has lined up its business activities throughout the year while launching top-class products.
The CV maker DICV succeeded by positioning itself against other established European CV players like Volvo and Scania in the domestic truck and bus market.
Notably, BharatBenz has launched MD IN-Power, new generation of modern medium duty trucks in February 2016.
The company introduced four models 914R, 1214R, 1214RE and 1217C in two variants – base and premium variants.
Within after three years of introducing its product line of medium-duty trucks, BharatBenz has again raised standards in the segment with its new generation MD IN-POWER trucks.
The MD IN-POWER range came with higher focus on payload advantage, higher service intervals, improved fuel efficiency, radial tyres and fine tuned feature-loaded driving comfort.
In the same month, Daimler Trucks Asia (DTA), an organizational unit of Daimler Trucks that jointly operates Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC) and Daimler India Commercial Vehicles expanded its sales and services for its FUSO brand benefitting from the opening of two new Daimler Trucks regional centers.
Celebrating its partnerships with leading players from the financial sector, DICV held its BharatBenz Financier Conclave in the country’s financial hub – Mumbai in April.
More than 200 representatives of DICV’s partners and Daimler executives from various areas gathered to exchange ideas on how to further innovate financing solutions to optimally support sales of modern BharatBenz trucks and buses in the Indian market.
Marking its network expansion, DICV in association with Espirit Trucking has inaugurated a new state-of-the-art BharatBenz dealership in National Capital Region, Ghaziabad in June 2016.
The opening of this new dealership which is owned and run by Espirit Trucking is an example of how DICV’s dealer network continues to proliferate deeper into domestic market regions including tier II and tier III cities,
In November 2016, BharatBenz has created buzz in Busworld India 2016, an international trade expo held in Bangalore. Busworld editions are premium international bus and coach expo series attracting global attention in the commercial vehicle sector.
BharatBenz participated for the first time in Busworld India edition, drawing overwhelming response from the industry players.
The company displayed both its school and staff buses in the trade fair.
With the current network of more than 80 dealerships, BharatBenz is gearing up to play a major game in 2017.
