Hero MotoCorp applauds its Golf brand ambassador for world-class performance

Indian two wheeler giant and the world’s largest two-wheeler maker Hero MotoCorp has applauded ace golfer Anirban Lahiri for achieving historic fifth place at the PGA Championship.

Lahiri is a brand ambassador for Hero MotoCorp for over five years now. The company celebrated his achievement at a special event today, showcasing its long-term commitment to keep supporting Indian sports.

Pawan Munjal, Chairman, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer,Hero MotoCorp, said, “Hero MotoCorp presented a memento to Anirban to mark his outstanding performance and rise as a global Hero in the golfing arena.”

Hero MotoCorp has been encouraging different sports in India, including Golf. The company hosts the annual Hero Indian Open Golf tournament, which witnesses participation of several international players.

The two wheeler major has also been sponsoring the men’s and women’s Indian Open since 2006 and 2010 respectively. In addition, the company remains the sponsor for India’s domestic Pro Tour for women.
