Honda R&D India contributes to WR-V, enters Karnataka at Rs 7.9 lakh

Honda WR-V, all-new Sporty Lifestyle Vehicle from Honda Cars India, is the first model developed by Honda R&D India in association with its counterpart in Japan to match the needs of young Indian customers. 

Honda’s Indian R&D division has specifically worked on design and engineering suitable for right-hand drive and India-exclusive powertrains.

The vehicle that witnessed all-India launch recently entered Karnataka market on Monday with the starting price tag of Rs. 7,90,500 (ex-showroom Bangalore). The WR-V is developed based on Honda’s globally successful Jazz platform.

Honda Cars India’s Senior VP, Sales and Marketing, Jnaneswar Sen,said, “With the launch of the Honda WR-V, we would like to provide joy for recreational usage and comfortable driving for daily use in the city for customers in India.”

The WR-V adopts the best of Honda’s powertrains to achieve a perfect balance of performance and fuel economy.
