Hyundai India February 2016 domestic sales up 9.1%

Hyundai Motor India, the Indian subsidiary of Korean car maker Hyundai, witnessed 9.1 percent growth in sales in the domestic market at 40716 units, up from 37305 vehicles sold in the same period a year ago.

Hyundai India achieved this growth despite logistic challenges in a few places in the country.

Rakesh Srivastava, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Hyundai Motor India Ltd. said, “Hyundai domestic sales increased by 9.1 percent on the strength of strong performance of the three ‘Indian Car Of The Year’ brands Creta, Elite i20 and Grand

Hyundai India has achieved 9.1 percent growth in spite of logistic challenges for transportation of vehicles to North India and loss of many business days of dealership operations across Haryana, he added.
