Royal Enfield has opened its first exclusive brand store in Melbourne city as a part of its growth strategy in Australia.
The strategy of company continuously opening foreign outlets is to acquire major market share in the global mid-sized motorcycle segment (250-750cc).
Rudratej (Rudy) Singh, President Royal Enfield said, “Australia represents one of the most important matured markets for Royal Enfield. We witnessed an upward growth in the market, a testimony to which is the 63 percent growth we have received in the first three quarters of 2016 as against the same period a year ago.”
This growth will be propelled by the company’s close proximity to the customer through more than 25 dealerships across the country, Singh said.
Further he added that the company is looking at key cities in Australia to expand its distribution and strong aftermarket network.

The Melbourne store covering around 1655 square feet will also house Royal Enfield’s complete range of apparels and accessories, that includes purpose-built protective riding gear and moto inspired urban protection gear.
Royal Enfield currently has 19 exclusive brand stores outside India, in nodal cities like Bangkok, Milwaukee, Paris, Barcelona, London, Madrid, Valencia, Medellin, Dubai, Bogota and Jakarta.
