Triumph Motorcycles India sees adventure category in the luxury motorcycle segment has huge growth potential in India.
Adventure motorcycling giant Triumph Motorcycles India launch new Tiger 800 XR for the Indian market. The two wheeler maker has priced the new Triumph Tiger 800 XR at Rs 10,50,000 (ex showroom Delhi)
The company is pitching the new Triumph Tiger 800 XR to address raising demand in the Indian adventurous motorcycling market
Vimal Sumbly, Managing Director, Triumph Motorcycles India said, “Triumph Motorcycles has witnessed outstanding success in adventure motorcycle category in India. We feel that the adventure category has huge growth potential within the luxury motorcycles market in India.”
Sumbly said the company is rolling out the new Triumph Tiger 800 XR in just three months from the launch of Tiger XCx abd XRx in India. Both these models have received remarkable response from the premium bike buyers in the country.

Triumph Motorcycles India will assemble the new Tiger 800 XR locally after importing it as Completely Knocked Down (CKD) units.
Triumph Motorcycles launched its Indian operations 18 months ago and so far sold around 2,000 units, marking remarkable start in the Indian luxury bike market.
Including the new Tiger XR 800cc, the compay will have four adventure motorcycle models in India and a total of 14 motorcycles from five categories. Currently the company has 11 dealerships across the country including in key cities like Bangalore and Indore.
Sumbly said the company will open its next showroom in Jaipur very soon.
