AAITF Bangkok 2015, an international automotive aftermarket trade exhibition has been inaugurated today in Bangkok with the participation of leading global aftermarket players.
AAITF Bangkok 2015 is Thailand’s first trade and business matching fair for automotive parts, replacement parts and auto accessories from all over the world.
The show was inaugurated today amidst multinational aftermarket players at Impact International Exhibition Centre in Bangkok by Arthit Wuthikaro, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Industry.
The first day of the expo, which is organised by Tarsus Group, the UK’s leading trade fair organiser, in association with Inter-Media Consultant Co.,Ltd, witnessed live demonstration of latest products and displays from several top aftermarket companies like Rupes S.p.A, Meguiars, Autoglym, Rust-Oleum, inCarBite, Autovox, TAKATA and 3K Battery.
The three-day event, which runs from December 9 to 11, 2015, covers an area of around 3,500 square metre at Impact Forum (Hall 9).
Peter Massey, Project Director of Tarsus Group Ltd, stated that this marks the first year that the company has cooperated with Inter-Media Consultants Co., Ltd to organise AAITF Bangkok 2015. Tarsus is a leading world organiser of the business-to-business trade fair and business matching. AAITF Bangkok 2015 is the first AAITF event in Thailand, which primarily focusses on business matching.

The international expo is involving leading sales agents, importers, wholesalers and retailers from Thailand, ASEAN countries and other maintenance equipment, electronic equipment, connection systems, stereos and accessories makers. The business matching forum consists of businessmen from Indonesia, Malaysia, China and Thailand, which will represent approximately 70 percent of all visitors.
The markets having a high growth rate of approximately 20 percent are Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam, Singapore, Brunei and the Philippines will also be represented and each which has a growth rate of approximately 10 percent.
Chalatchal Paphatphong, Deputy Managing Director, Inte-Media Consultant Co., Ltd., which is a market leader for the event “Thailand International Motor Expo” revealed that this is the first year that they have joined hands with Tarsus Group to organise AAITF Bangkok 2015. This event will primarily focus on the B2B platform to promote manufacturing and sales of products related to the automotive industry in the region, such as accessories, stereos, connection systems, maintenance products and equipment, and replacement parts. The visitors come from 11 countries.
This event will provide an opportunity to expand the markets of automotive-related equipment for Thai operators to the ASEAN region.
Another added advantage of AAITF Bangkok 2015 is that it is being conducted at the same time and venue of the 32nd Thailand International Motor Expo, which is expected to attract around 1.3 million visitors.
The target group for AAITF Bangkok 2015 is around 5,000 business visitors that are looking for products and innovations in the automobile-related industry, especially manufacturers and operators of automotive parts and replacement parts, car dealers and service centres, automotive aftermarket operators, repair garages, paint garages, accessories shops and retail business.
This event is expected to help build market capacity, create a positive image, and upgrade automotive expositions to reach the international level.
