Indian commercial vehicle giant Tata Motors has showcased three new specialty vehicles suitable to use in local body functions at Municipalika 2015, which was organised in Jaipur, Rajasthan from December 9-11, 2015.
Tata Motors’ municipality range of vehicles showcased include at the expo include the Tata Ace Desilting Machine with BS IV specification, the Tata Ace Zip_1.25 CuM Hopper Tipper BS III and the Suction (5KL)-cum-Jetting (4KL) machine on Tata LPT 1613/42 Truck BS III and BS IV.

- Tata Ace Desilting Machine:
- Purpose: Ideal for cleaning manholes and wet wells up to 40 ft in depth.
- Specifications:
- Hydraulic tiltable hopper capacity: 0.5 Cum.
- Engine performance: 16 HP @ 3200 RPM, torque of 3.8 mkg @ 2000 RPM.
- Maneuverability: Minimum turning circle diameter of 8.6m.
- Efficiency: Equipped with a 20-liter grab bucket for enhanced operational productivity.

Suction (5KL)-cum-Jetting (4KL) machine on Tata LPT 1613/42 Truck is a Truck Mounted Mobile Unit suitable to dislodge and remove obstructions and blockages from sewer lines by a High Pressure Water Jetting System and suctioning the Sludge / slurry from sewer manholes, septic tanks and gully pits.
