Tata Motors showcases specialty vehicles at Municipalika 2015

Indian commercial vehicle giant Tata Motors has showcased three new specialty vehicles suitable to use in local body functions at Municipalika 2015, which was organised in Jaipur, Rajasthan from December 9-11, 2015.

Tata Motors’ municipality range of vehicles showcased include at the expo include the Tata Ace Desilting Machine with BS IV specification, the Tata Ace Zip_1.25 CuM Hopper Tipper BS III and the Suction (5KL)-cum-Jetting (4KL) machine on Tata LPT 1613/42 Truck BS III and BS IV.

Tata Motors is showcasing its commitment to supporting urban local bodies and municipal corporations by unveiling vehicles tailored for waste collection and transportation. These vehicles are designed to deliver superior maneuverability and fuel efficiency, addressing the unique challenges of urban infrastructure management.

Highlights of Tata Motors’ Municipal Range

• Tata Ace Desilting Machine:
  • Purpose: Ideal for cleaning manholes and wet wells up to 40 ft in depth.
  • Specifications:
    • Hydraulic tiltable hopper capacity: 0.5 Cum.
    • Engine performance: 16 HP @ 3200 RPM, torque of 3.8 mkg @ 2000 RPM.
    • Maneuverability: Minimum turning circle diameter of 8.6m.
    • Efficiency: Equipped with a 20-liter grab bucket for enhanced operational productivity.

Suction (5KL)-cum-Jetting (4KL) machine on Tata LPT 1613/42 Truck is a Truck Mounted Mobile Unit suitable to dislodge and remove obstructions and blockages from sewer lines by a High Pressure Water Jetting System and suctioning the Sludge / slurry from sewer manholes, septic tanks and gully pits.
