Tata Motors woo GenX Nano buyers with factory live-show offer

Tata Motors rolls out a new marketing campaign ‘The Chosen Ones’ to ensure big sales figures for the GenX Nano.

Indian auto giant Tata Motors has launched a customer friendly offer christened ‘The Chosen Ones’ to boost the sales of its recently launched compact hatchback GenX Nano.

Under the campaign, the select customers can witness the live show of their car being rolled out from the Tata Motor’s manufacturing facility in Sanand, India.

The ongoing campaign will close on June 18, 2015. The customer those who have already booked or will book the GenX Nano will be eligible to participate in the ‘lucky draw’.

The company will shortlist only 20 customers under “The Chosen Ones’ campaign and the winners will witness their car rolling-off from the production line at Sanad plant.

On the new marketing campaign, Mayank Pareek, President, Passenger Vehicles Business Unit, Tata Motors said, “After Zest and Bolt, the GenX Nano is the company’s third product under Horizonext concept. ‘The Chosen Ones’ campaign has offered a unique platform to fulfill our promise to bring the best customer experiences.”

The select customers will enjoy an all-expense paid trip to Sanand to have an experience of watching the practical roll-out of their own GenX Nano.

Terming this as a first-of-its-kind initiative by any car companies in India, Pareek said it is yet another customer centric campaign from Tata Motors.

Tata Motors will announce the lucky winners on June 24 and the winning customers will be taken to Sanand plant on July 7.

The company offer will cover only the buyers those who have booked the XT and XTA variants. The offer covers all the states except Tamil Nadu and the union territory Pondichery.

The company has added several features to its new GenX Nano. Under the company’s Horizonext strategy, Tata Motors claims that its compact hatchback GenX Nano has been developed under key concepts of Designext, Drivenext and Connectnext.

The buyers can also book the GenX Nano online for with Rs 5,001. The car is now available over 450 sales outlets of the company across the country.
