Tata Motors drives into Riyadh with mega showroom and service facility, which is said to be one of the largest automotive showrooms in the Gulf region.
Top Indian automotive player Tata Motors has inaugurated its flagship dealership showroom and service facility in Riyadh.
The facility will be run by Manahil International Company (MIC) in Riyadh. Opening a mega sales and service centre in Riyadh comes as part of Tata Motors strategy to increase its commercial vehicle (CV) business in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
MIC is a part of Mohamed Yousuf Naghi and Brothers Group. The company is also the sole authorized distributor for Tata Motors vehicles in Saudi Arabia.
The state-of-the art facility is one of the largest showroom-cum-service facilities in the Gulf Cooperation Council, Tata Motors said in a statement issued today.
Speaking on the Riyadh sales and service facility, RT Wasan, Head of International business, CV Business Unit of Tata Motors said “Saudi Arabian market is a focus market for Tata Motors. Opening a showroom and service facility in Riyadh is a major step in our expansion plans in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia to offer quality sales and after sales service to our customers.”
Tata Motors has trained the team deployed in the Riyadh centre to ensure top quality customer service, he added.
Manahil International also plans to expand network for Tata Motors vehicles across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, according to Abdul Wahab Itani, Senior VP, Automotive division of Manahil International Company.
Tata Motors’ Riyadh facility is located near the Industrial area with a huge space to display the entire range of vehicles from Tata Motors. The service facility in the premises houses a 40 bay workshop, which is equipped with latest equipment and high-skilled technicians. The Riyadh showroom cum service facility also has a fleet of vehicles for mobile service.
