Technology major Faro is eying sizeable market share for its products in the Indian automotive industry.
FARO, a global 3D measurement solution provider, will be showcasing its measurement devices used in the automotive industry in the forthcoming Automotive Engineering Show 2015 in Chennai, India.
The United States-headquartered FARO, with its branch office in India, is targeting the Indian automobile manufacturing segment with its wide and high technology product portfolio.
The company will display its Edge ScanArm HD (Laser Line Probe HD), a latest addition to its popular FaroArm product line.
Sharing the pre show preview with Automotive India News, Faro’s spokesperson said it has developed Edge ScanArm HD by keeping end user in mind.
The high technology backed contact/non-contact ScanArm HD device supports rapid point cloud collection with great accuracy and resolution. In addition, It features an extra wide scan stripe, which enhances scanning coverage and a new blue laser that offers noise reduction.
Faro says its new product Edge ScanArm HD is an affordable measurement device, which also allow users to considerably reduce on-site measuring time that inturn will help to reduce overall costs. The company’s new device also enables users to scan challenging materials and enhance their products and processes. Users can reduce training times dramatically with the device as the crosshair feature and LED Rangefinder functionality allows real-time scanning feedback.
In addition to Edge ScanArm HD, the company will also be showcasing its FARO Laser Tracker Vantage and FARO Gageat at Booth 8, Hall 2 in Automotive Engineering Show 2015, which will be held for three days from July 7 to 9 at Chennai Trade Centre in the south Indian city Chenna in Tamil Nadu.
