Triumph is bringing the limited edition Rocket X to India at the time when its Indian subsidiary is celebrating the sales milestone of 1,600 units in India.

The iconic British motorcycle manufacturer, Triumph Motorcycles, has launched the Limited Edition Rocket X as mark of celebrating tenth birth year of its Rocket III Roadster cruiser motorcycle.

The Rocket III, which hit the roads in 2004, has gained iconic status as the motorcycle that every rider wish to ride.

The company is rolling out 500 units of Rocket X limited editions, of which 15 units will be available in the Indian market.

Triumph Rocket X limited edition will come with individual side panel and decorative billeted aluminum name badge.

The product’s painting has been carried out by the popular custom paint work shop, 8-Ball, to differentiate the limited edition from the standard ones on offering. To have customized look, the limited edition has been released with blackened components including exhaust and handlebars. Other features include hand painted silver pinstripe and black wheels.

The full exhaust system of the motorcycle has been coated with special paint to resist high temperatures.

Powered with 2294cc, three cylinder, liquid cooled engine, the Rocket X has a maximum power of 148 Ps at 5750 rpm with maximum torque of 221 Nm at 2750 rpm.

Triumph bringing the limited editions of Rocket X to India is seen as the importance that the company giving to the Indian market. Currently Triumph’s Indian subsidiary is celebrating the sales milestone of 1,600 units.

The company sold more than 1,600 units of motorcycles within 18 months of its establishment in India.

On launching the limited edition Rocket X, Vimal Sumbly, MD of Triumph Motorcycles Indi,a said, “In continuation to celebration of achieving 1,600 plus customers in India, we are delighted to offer Limited Edition Rocket X to the passionate motorcyclists in the country.

Triumph Motorcycles India has fixed a price tag of Rs 22.21 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the limited edition Rocket X. The customers can buy the limited editions of Rocket X through Triumph India’s ten dealership outlets across the country.

In total, Triumph India offers 13 motorcycles under five categories for the Indian customers.
