Harley-Davidson teams up with Myntra to sell merchandise online

Harley-Davidson brings the rebel attitude to Myntra through online sales of its stylish products including casual wear and accessories

 

Heavy-duty motorcycle maker Harley-Davidson has partnered with India’s top e-commerce portal Myntra to sell its products to internet savvy customers across India.

Premium motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson has teamed up with Myntra, a top e-commerce portal in India for fashion and lifestyle products, to sell its casual wear products and accessories.

The stylish motor cloths of Harley-Davidson, which are popular for its rebellious design coupled with bold urban styling, have inspired motorcycle riders and passengers across the world for generations.

Through this tie-up with Myntra, Harley-Davidson’s casual merchandise will be available through an exclusive Myntra powered online store from today.

The Myntra supported online store offers a range of casual outerwear, denims, sportswear and accessories of Harley-Davidson.

Already Harley-Davidson has been offering its merchandise and accessories to customers through its dealerships across 17 cities in India. By joining hands with Myntra, Harley-Davidson will now be able to take its products to customers in more than 12,000 pincodes across the country, the motorcycle maker said in a statement issued today.

Commenting on the alliance with Myntra, Rajiv Vohra, Director Sales and Dealer Development in Harley-Davidson India, said “We are extremely pleased to enter into this tie-up with Myntra.com as it helps us to become more accessible to Harley-Davidson customers across the country.”

The Harley-Davidson collection available through Myntra online sales include jackets, shirts, denims, wallets, caps, t-shirts, and other accessories. The Harley-Davidson statement said the customers can download the Myntra smart phone app­ to view the complete offerings from Harley-Davidson.

Expressing his views on the alliance with Harley-Davidson, Prasad Kompalli, Head – eCommerce Platform in Myntra, said “Always it has been our continuous endeovor to expand our product portfolio to provide latest and widest collection from best brands to our shoppers. The current alliance with Harley-Davidson will help us cater to Harley-Davidson aficionados by providing easy access to the brand’s lifestyle products.”

Harley-Davidson commenced its operations in India in August 2009. The company has 12 models for the Indian market with an assembly facility at Bawal in Haryana. The heavy-duty motorcycle maker has 17 dealerships across India including the key destinations like Banlgaore, New Delhi, Mumbai and Hyderabad.
